John Lowe is the Site Manager of the University Drive Division of the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. As the Site Manager, he oversees daily operations at the acute care division, which provides tertiary healthcare services to over 50,000 patients. He is also responsible for pharmacy services at all three divisions of the healthcare system.

Mr. Lowe received his Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy from North Dakota State University and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. He has held a faculty position with the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy since 1990.
Mr. Lowe also serves as the Chair of the VISN 4 P&T Committee, which provides formulary management for the 10 VA medical centers in Pennsylvania, Wilmington Delaware and Clarksburg West Virginia. He is a member of the VA National Formulary Leaders Committee and a past member of the Department of Defense Formulary Committee.
